Small Groups

Many people believe that if you teach people enough Bible they will grow spiritually and demonstrate the life of Christ more consistently. From what we have experienced at BGF we do not believe that strong Bible teaching on a Sunday morning alone is enough to result in Spiritual growth. Nor do we believe just getting together in a Group once a week and providing more teaching will bring about the desired change.

The Wave

While the goal of “The Wave” is discipleship it is really all about an encounter with Jesus (True Life) through community. It’s a place to know Him, and to know others, and to be known too. It’s a safe, welcoming, challenging and miraculous place; it’s where Jesus is real - in and through those around us, in everything.

Men's Group

BGF’s desire is to develop a dynamic Men’s Ministry where our men are encouraged to listen to the “secret longings of their hearts” …. to love, do good, fight evil, and go beyond their limits.

Care Ministry

BGF endeavours to be a community that cares by practically extending love and grace. We cannot manage, however, without the whole body actively involved in looking out for one another. It is our hope that Small Groups provide some of the pastoral care individuals need but not everyone at BGF has chosen (or is able) to be part of such a group.

Prayer Group

Prayer is so very important. Sometimes we have something on our hearts but don't feel comfortable sharing it in person but would love to be prayed for. For several years now at BGF we have been privileged to have a dedicated group of women who meet weekly to pray for us as a Church.
